Summer for the Baker's

Our family did not officially take a vacation this summer but it has been nice anyway!! We took a trip to the Colo. river with the entire extended family and had a very fun time, floating down the river , tubing behind the boat and just relaxing with the kids and when I say kids I mean LOTS of kids!!! 27 on that trip but we were missing a quite a few also. Dezi and I took a couple of short overnight trips to have some" alone " time and we went(with kids too) to the White Mts. for a short getaway with the Rosbrooks. Hawley Lake was beautiful and the drive is breathtaking!! Eden had a great time at camp Tatiyee in Lakeside, (a camp for kids with special needs)and she turned 15 while she was there. Lyndon had a chance to camp with Jensen and he turned 13 this summer. Nathan worked all summer and didn't get to go away much but, hey life is good because he is on his own now!! He moved out right before his graduation and his 19th birthday and seems to love the freedom( pray for me!!)He lives with his friend Jaymen and is working as a security guard at the mine entrance gate. ~~ I'm posting some pictures of the Willy Wonka Play eden and lyndon were in this summer, very fun but this is also why we didn't go away for any length of time.
